
Federico Fregni has over 25 years of experience leading communications, marketing, corporate positioning, editorial, reputation, thought-leadership campaigns, partnerships and external relations at top international level.
He led communications globally for The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) for over a decade, overseeing communications, reputation, thought leadership campaigns (including Diversity & Inclusion and Sustainability), several partnerships (e.g. World Economic Forum, Women in the World), media relations, books and multimedia.
Prior to BCG, Federico was a senior journalist covering print, radio and TV. He was team Leader and Channel Head for Bloomberg News and a senior Asian correspondent. Before then he had several stints as a journalist as well as a marketing and PR executive.
Federico held major roles focused on global reputation building. He set up BCG’s relationship with the World Economic Forum (WEF), including all of its Strategic Partnership activities. He was Sherpa to the company’s CEO and Executive team around WEF’s events, driving work to deliver projects in key areas such as sustainability, diversity and innovation. He participated in ten Annual Meetings at Davos and a dozen regional meetings.
Outside of his day-to-day activities, Federico is passionate about the environment and sustainability: he is a board member of a non-profit outlet producing documentaries on sustainable change and has engaged with several foundations involved in conservation. He is a published author and a keen landscape photographer.
